The Fitzwilliam owns a large number of works by the English poet, painter, and visionary William Blake, including books, engraved prints, and drawings. Blake's prolific artistic output was strongly influenced by his deeply personal experience of religion and spirituality, which manifested itself through vivid dreams and hallucinations. His unmistakable style is testament to his unique imagination. Images included in this notecard pack are:
